南丁格尔誓言Nightingale pledge
I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous， and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession， and will hold in confidence all personal matters mitted to my keeping and all family affairs ing to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work and devote myself to the welfare of those mitted to my care.

【Florence Nightingale】弗洛沦斯·南丁格尔，1820-1910，英国女护士，近代护理学创始人。生于意大利佛罗伦萨。1850年在德国领悟护理，1854-1856年在克里米亚战争中率领38名护士赴前线参加伤病员护理工作，建立医院管理制度，提高护理质量，使伤病员死亡率迅速下降。1860年在伦敦创办英国第一所护士学校，推动了西欧各国以及世界各地的护理工作和护士教育的发展。著有《护理工作记录》等。国际护士会将她的诞辰日——5月12日定为“国际护士节”，以示对她的纪念。
